Welcome to my website!
This is my platform for art, fiction, illustration and other creative works, experimenting in different media. I'm a creative living in London and when I'm not found here, I'm working on non-profit zines or in the exciting world of full-time paid employment. I write short stories, and particularly write and draw for children.

SUMI-E
Japanese brush painting
Sumi-e is a traditional Japanese method of painting using brush and ink, which can be enhanced with watercolour. It is one of my favourite methods of painting and has strongly influenced all of my art. I have also been strongly inspired by Ralph Thompson's beautiful ink sketches of animals.
ACRYLIC AND INK
Recently, I have begun exploring acrylic as a medium, applying some of the techniques used in sumi-e. I particularly like the contrast of the flat acrylic colour on brown paper.
